Dr. Elizabeth Yacobi,
Assistant Superintendent for Secondary Education
and Title IX Coordinator
I am truly honored and blessed to be a part of Danville School District 118 as Assistant Superintendent for Secondary Education for grades 7-12.
My educational career spans 30 years - serving as a secondary teacher, educational consultant, district director, high school associate principal, and assistant superintendent in northern Illinois. I came to Danville District 118 in July of 2015 and my husband and I are proud residents of Danville.
I am excited to work with the administrators and staff of South View Upper Elementary, North Ridge Middle School, Danville High School, and Kenneth D. Bailey Academy to support the diverse learning paths of all students. The work of secondary education is to expose our students to a vision of their future and prepare them with the knowledge, skills, resiliency, and self-confidence to attain it.
District 118 will continue to support secondary education programs such as our Advanced Placement (AP) courses, AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination), exemplary fine arts groups, college and career programming, alternative paths to graduation and a wide range of extra curriculars that help students find their talents and abilities as they grow to fulfill their fullest potential.
